we extend the search for the best italiener for slender. we tried 'da francesco' on a Sunday night without booking. no problem to find a table for 2 although the place was well visited, and some guests were on a beautiful terrace unfortunately...going to the main road. I loved the deco in the inner, with some 'freskos' including 'the last dinner', as if they were found by the scraping of the wall. the atmosphere is beautiful, although to say that the service is familiar is exaggerated: the waitress had very long chats with some recurring customers friends, but only spent seconds with us. we had bark carpaccio and bruschettas as appetizers: the carpaccio was amazing a beautiful meat cut, the bruschetta was very good and with the right amount of garlic, though a bit small. my man ordered a lasagne, but unfortunately the spaghetti con l 'astice crab had run out, so I left myself for black tagliolini with scampi. the latter were very tasty, and they had in any case saved on the garnel. the lasagne was disappointing: nicely cooked, but we could find several layers of pasta with nothing in between, not much fill at all and with what was very likely gouda was covered. the classic Italian lasagne has no thick layer cheese on the top, usually only a good best repentance of parmesan, and if cheese must be baked! for the German customers, then at least some correct mozzarella! I then ordered a pannacotta that with a layer of karamell as more as a crème caramell than pantinakotta. overly sweet came. so, overall, some great dishes and some less convincing. it's a good place, but we're going to keep looking.
