Da Terra - Tisch reservieren

My recent experience with De Tarra Restaurant left me utterly disappointed and appalled. Despite testing positive for COVID-19 and responsibly requesting to reschedule my reservation for a later date for the safety of both their staff and other diners, they displayed a complete lack of empathy, as if my illness was a choice, they chose to charge me an exorbitant £460 anyway. It's important to note that I was not canceling my reservation; I simply couldn't dine with them at that moment due to my health. Their complete lack of empathy and disregard for public health is astonishing. In a time when responsible actions are crucial, De Tarra Restaurant demonstrated a complete absence of decency. It's not as if anyone wants to contract COVID-19, and their refusal to accommodate my situation speaks volumes about their priorities. It’s astonishing how they prioritize profit over public health. This lack of consideration for patrons’ well-being is nothing short of abhorrent. It’s as though they would rather have sick customers at their tables than demonstrate any semblance of responsibility. Next time, I might be tempted to dine at De Tarra while ill, given their apparent indifference to the well-being of their patrons. This experience has left me questioning the integrity and compassion of the restaurant management, and I can't help but feel that they fell drastically short in providing customer service during a challenging time.

Very well executed food, with influences from all around the world and especially South America. The use of ingredients unusual in Europe, is well balanced, and the dishes are the expression of an elegant and at times quite classic fine-dining approach. The level of food was very high, especially the main dishes, fish and meat, were outstanding. The food deserves the two Michelin starts and the other accolades. In terms of quality/price ratio, probably on the expensive side, but the uniqueness of the food proposal is worth the visit. The area where the restaurant is situated it's not the nicest, the restaurant inside is nice and the atmosphere is good. The service overall was nice, although I would have liked more details and information about the dishes and the inspiration of them from the waiters. The rhythm of the food felt also slightly too fast for my preference, and I didn't always have time to pick the drink for the next dishes because of that, especially if I didn't like the first choice proposed by the sommelier. Phenomenal experience. Service was fantastic, food was incredibly flavourful and all in a very relaxed environment for a 2* Michelin restaurant. We loved everything super tasty and original, perfect service and atmosphere, would definitely recommend. We did lunch 5 courses (lunch menu). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
