Update: much better second experience here. The blueberry lavender limonade is a refreshing aroma for a damp summer evening. Brie and Alex? offer the kind of customer service you want from your local ice shop: generous, warm and helpful. I am back to try the mastic and the Turkish joy when they are cleaned again! Original review: Tried the Mexican dark chocolate cinnamon and geeseberry swirl and was very disappointed. I had expected tastes like cinnamon, but nothing discovered. The alleged Mexican chocolate was pale from the mill and a few shades more than dark. The geeseberry? It tasted quite a lot like raspberry what they had previously advertised in the week and was totally normal. The waffle cone tasted more than a day old. If it had been a reasonable price, I wouldn't be so exposed, but if a cone costs over $11, then I have higher expectations. I still give three stars because I know how good their hard gelato can be, but I guess clearly from the soft serve these ain?t it.
The death in Venice Gelato offers not only a great service, a very cool decor, but also very unique Gelato aromas with ingredients that I could never imagine. One that really stood out is the lime, raspberry and ginger that had a very subtle ginger taste and was very refreshing. I also had the coconut colds that tasted very smooth and not too sweet. This location also has many delicious treats that you can take home, including pints of gelato, chocolate, sauces and other snacks. I highly recommend trying her gelato and can not wait to come back to try the other flavors!
This place has such great ice cream!!! I would give 5 stars for the ice cream for sure. However it?s unfortunate that on such a crazy busy hot summer day (30+ outside) that they only have 1 person working. We don?t mind the wait at all but it?s tough to see one person running back and forth for hours on end. We hope to see more support for the staff here.
One of the few places offering unique gelato flavour as well as frequent change in the flavour. I tried the Boozy Tiramisu and Nutella cookie. Both were good but Boozy Tiramisu stood out. So freaking refreshing and good.
