Deeper Roots Coffee

I have no idea if this place has good coffee since I am not a coffee drinker. Stopped in to get coffee for a friend. Not sure if this is standard but ordered a coffee and was one of two people in the place. They had two persons working. One asked nicely what I would like to order and did so and it was to go. While standing at the front counter the name of the coffee was called out, thinking it would be brought to me. Realized I had to walk very to the side counter to get it. Saw that a kid was not in the cup and indicated it was to go. That was acknowledged and informed to put my own lid on it. The convo was pleasant. Fumbled around with a couple of lids, found one that fit and left. Too sensitive? Normal way coffee places work?

A huge group of young students came in from a convention and they were polite and helpful. 10/10 service and while they had a million drinks to make they still did latte art. Adorable place, slay staff.

The most cozy cafe downtown. Their specialties are desserts, so don’t bother getting something savoury.

Latte was excellent. Breakfast cookie was an A+. Staff were fast, friendly, and good at their jobs.
