While I wasn't born in India, I've been eating Indian cuisine around the world for over 50 years. Delhi Diner belongs to a handful of truly authentic settings a beautiful (still completely unpretentious), comfortable and comfortable place it is Gossimer curtains billing in the breeze that close perfect cuisine from classic dishes to street food. If you want to be transported to a heavenly room, visit this beautiful restaurant. It is owned and operated by Subhash and Krishna, whose knowledge about the entire range of Indian specialties combined with beautiful presentation and service.
Unfortunately, I have just seen the previous review of cross-contamination in frying oil, or I would have thought twice before riding with my “vegan” tikka masala. So I'll talk to the last one and say, be careful. That said the vegan tikka masala was delicious as the veggie spring rolls and mango leti. Great food – and I am glad that vegan options were clearly marked. The service was slow when we went, especially for just a few others in the restaurant, so possibly not the place to get your lunch break from work (if you order the check at the same time as your meal).
We have dined a handful of times here and have just been made aware that the frit is a common frit with meat and gluten elements. You mark the menu in the starter area Vegan/Gluten free and fry it in the same as other menu items. But if cross-contamination do not disturb you, this place is amazing. Great service.
I love this place, it is definitely my go-to Indian food... always delicious and comfortable, the service is friendly and efficient. I like the feeling of a family business, everyone works hard to keep the place at a high level of service and quality. Very recommended also for interior seats! And of course:
