I stopped in because I liked going there when I used to live in arcadia. I always have the detox burger and fries. I lived there from 2008 to 2019. It was a good deal, under 10 bucks. I was single back then. I went there with my girlfriend and her 2 grandchildren. She had the across the tracks salad and the kids had chicken fingers and fries. While we were eating I said to her that I thought my burger was not as tasty as it always was in the past, she agreed with me and said her salad was different tasting also. She normally would get a to go box, she didn't want one in her mind she agreed with me. When I received the bill, I was shocked. Almost 70 dollars. I had a glass of beer and they had a soda each. Not only did the quality of food go down, the prices went way up. In years past I never had to wait for anything. I had to wait because there was only 1 bartender. During this time I kept thinking that it would be a really long time before I would go back, if I ever do. Years past I would recommend this place to everyone, now that is not the case. Visited this establishment while working in the area. The place came with high reviews even stocked their labeled water at the hotel where I was staying for the week.I walked in, got a pop from someone I overheard, was the owner’s son. He reluctantly took my order after 40 minutes, I finally got up and left. My pop sat empty. There were about 3 5 employees there with about 5 customers no one returned to my table. AT ALL. The last straw was watching 3 people slowly receive their food and then another employee sat down to eat. I was invisible, I guess.
When we walked there was no customer's, but the music was extremely loud, and it took the bartender 2 minutes to notice we were there. Then more people came in including the owner and a female, they sat at the end of the bar and were both chain smoking!!! They were rude to the bartender and cook! Food prices amazing! Food delicious!!! Great Hispanic bar. Amazing loud music with sports on and cold beer. Bartender well put together. Just great vibes. I was passing through Arcadia and Google Food open now and this spot pulled up. I live a hr away and I'll deff make the drive to come back. The music booming! I bet at night its popping in here!
