On September 22nd we came to the Mittermeier restaurant. We were the only guests. We asked for lunch and seating for 2 people. The waiter made a generous gesture, which probably meant everything was free. After we sat down, he came and asked us to go to another table. The other table was already set. Incomprehensible, given the two pieces of cutlery that were lying there. It would have been better if we had left at that moment. We ordered Tyrolean Gröstel. I have never been served such loveless and tasteless food anywhere in Bavaria. The food was served in a pan. The fried potatoes were difficult to recognize as such. The announced pork was cut into small fatty cubes. The fried potato cubes were hard and partially burnt. All of this was floating in oil or fat, To top it all off, there was a fried egg on top that was burnt around the edges and hard in the middle. None of the popular herbs were available. The food was a disgrace for this lovely establishment
We stayed at the sister hotel and had 3 dinners at Villa Mittermeier. Staff was very friendly and nice. There was also the option to get the food in a lactose and gluten free version, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere was also particularly nice and the interior looked very nice. Food drinks: Für einen Kaffee mit Käsekuchen und einen Cappuccino mit Käsesahne mehr als 34 Euro zu verlangen ist gewaltig. Die Kuchenstücke waren zwar groß und der Ober war sehr freundlich, was aber diesen Preis wohl nicht rechtfertigt. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste kann ich verstehen. Service: 1
