they had to strike a star, that was my favorite pizza place before. we would drive 20 minutes to get it, probably a 100 places on the way. the last few times we were not overly impressed, this last visit, which was waiting for an hour for the tour, when I came home the pizza burned and the ranch was missing for one of my pizza. I called and spoke to a manager who was very nice and apologized, but I would rather have waited 15 minutes to get it back instead of coming home to burn pizza. we will give them a further attempt, but it could be time to stay more local. check their pizza before they leave the load is likely their best bet!
Never been to Dewey's but I'm glad I was there. Our server,E'CHIEKO was amazingShe made our coffee and it was great. Not your typical black water fare,but really good coffee with a robust flavor. A great server period!! We each had salads,I had the peppercorn ranch with bacon bits. Outstanding. For pizza I had the usual mushrooms and pepperoni. 17 inch,I think. Looked like a spare tire on our table. There was very little left,brought 3 slices home. I was hungry and very pleased with my pizza. I was bouncing in my booth which means I was ecstatic. Go to Dewey's,you'll bounce too.
The specialty pizzas are really special, with some of the most unusual combinations I have seen. Over time, I've sampled most of them and they are all good. Ditto for the salads which are equally creative. Service has always been quick and friendly. You can watch them throw the pizza dough in the air like in the old country. What's not to like?
Ordered the Dr. Dre and Don Corleone pizzas. Both were good but the Dr Dre was it for me (surprisingly). I will be back for that. Good location and excellent customer service. ??
