Didi's Downtown

I will begin to say that the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and waiting was not very long. The food tasted good and the server was attentive. However, I was somewhat disappointed by the portion size of our two plates. I spoke this politely to our server Regan and asked if we could get a small additional page of Mac and cheese to which he was very helpful and obliged. When I got the check, I was charged for the Mac and the cheese. Maybe that was my fault that I wouldn't specifically say I don't want to pay for it. Nevertheless, I asked Regan (again politely) whether he could remove it from check. Long story short, the cook came and basically illuminated me and dismissed my honest opinion about the portion size and said you don't know about food, so I won't let you dictate how big the portion sizes are, so I pay for the Mac and cheese. The $5 was not a big deal, but the way the boss treated the situation absolutely. This has completely ruined the whole experience. Call me picky or old-fashioned, but I don't think you should ever starve a restaurant, especially not at this price.

This place is absolutely amazing and just became one of my new favorite spots! Joseph, our server, was extremely attentive and kind towards us with our first experience here. From the food to the drinks to the service, I could not have asked for a better experience. The chef even goes around to check on guests which is incredibly meaningful and powerful in its own way. I cannot wait to continue to come back and try more of the delicious food!

Our first time here and it was a Solid 4 stars. Food was tasty and the live entertainment was nice. The volume was just right where we can still talk and enjoy our meal. Philly cheese steak was pretty good. BBQ chicken Mac and cheese looked good. Fish and chips look good. Hot Honey Buttered Fried Chicken was nice! We will be coming back soon!

OMG YUM! First time going and I’m glad we did! Food was AMAZING! I had the meatloaf and my husband had the burger. We also ordered the chips and salsa (also great). So glad we tried this place. Also, try the main old fashioned!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100
