Most restaurants close very early, some even at 7 p.m. This restaurant is a little jewel. The food is really very, very good. It is led by a couple, the cook and the host! If you have a high blood pressure, ask the cook to prepare your dinner with a little less salt. And please check out the opening hours precisely because they are closed most weekends!"

Ich kam in dem Restaurant an, das seit ein paar Tagen geschlossen war. Weil ich hier auf Tripadvisor darüber gelesen hatte und es gut bewertet wurde, dachte ich, ich würde es versuchen. Ich nahm an einem von mehreren leeren Tischen auf der Terrasse Platz, von denen keiner mit einem Schild darauf hinwies, dass sie reserviert waren. Innerhalb weniger Augenblicke kam eine Kellnerin auf mich zu und fragte mich, ob ich einen Tisch reserviert hätte. Ich verneinte (natürlich nicht, das Restaurant war mehrere Tage wegen Rohrbruch geschlossen), und mir wurde gesagt, dass sie in diesem Fall leider keinen Platz hätten. Ich ging woanders hin, um ein sehr kurzes Abendessen einzunehmen, und als ich zurückkam, waren auf der Terrasse noch viele Tische leer. Ich weiß nicht, warum ich abgewiesen wurde, aber es schien nicht daran zu liegen, dass das Restaurant so voll war.
Da wir unterwegs waren, buchte ich das Restaurant ein paar Tage vor unserer Ankunft. Bei der Ankunft war ein Tisch eindeutig für uns reserviert. Wir bestellten Pasta mit Pesto zum Mittagessen und Wasser als Getränk. Beide kamen in relativ kurzer Zeit. Die Pasta war köstlich. Es wurde eindeutig frisch aus Originalzutaten zubereitet. Es roch gut, es sah sehr attraktiv aus und die Portionen hatten eine (mehr als ...) anständige Größe. Es hat so gut geschmeckt, dass ich nicht aufhören konnte, auch die Reste meiner Frau zu essen, die nicht so eine große Esserin ist wie ich. Der Preis, den wir zahlen mussten, war mäßig niedrig. Ich kann diesen Ort jedem empfehlen, der Bad Münstereifel wegen des Outlet-Centers besucht oder einfach nur vorbeikommt!
I arrived at the restaurant which had been closed for a couple days. Because I had read about it here on Tripadvisor and it was well rated I thought I would give it a go. I had a seat at one of several empty tables on the terrace, none of which had any sign saying they were reserved. Within moments a waitress approached me and asked me if I had reserved a table. I said no (of course not, the restaurant had been closed for several days because of broken pipe work), and I was told that in that case unfortunately they had no room. I went to have a very short dinner elsewhere, and when I came back the terrace still had many tables empty. I don't know why I was turned away, but it did not seem to be because the restaurant was so crowded.
As we were travelling I booked the restaurant a few days ahead of our arrival. Upon arrival there was a table clearly reserved for us. We ordered Pasta with pesto fur lunch, and water as a drink. Both came in relatively short time. The pasta was delicious. It was clearly freshly made out of original ingredients. It smelled good, it looked very attractive, and the portions were of a (more than... decent size. It tasted so good that I could not stop also eating the leftovers of my wife, who is not such a big eater as I am. The price we had to pay was moderately low. I can recommend this place for anyone visiting Bad Munstereifel for the outlet center, or is just passing by!
