We have been to DISH 3 times in the last 12 months. Twice for their Sunday brunch, once for a special occasion dinner. The food has mostly been excellent, with the carnitas breakfast burrito option being truly spectacular. Unfortunately, service has continued to be incredibly frustrating. Our dinner, a tasting menu, had multiple courses rushed at the same time, including our drinks. In multiple stages, we received multiple drinks in advance of its paired course. For brunch, we have never had a problem with the timing of the food. Instead, we have waited long periods for things like water or the opportunity to pay the bill. It certainly isn't horrible, but it has been continuously below average.
Interesting restaurant. We are not from Lincoln so accidentally landed at this spot with no reservations. Host got us promptly seated at the bar and the server made note that we were going to a show after dinner. One page menu means food is fresh and innovative! Indeed food we ordered was beautifully presented, and was delicious. The price point was on higher side, but justified. The overall vibe seemed a bit dated though and could use an upgrade.
Went here for Valentines day dinner. Food was alright, but service was not great. Our server didn 't bother to see us more than twice the entire night, but was back and forth at other tables. Felt very stale in the restaurant. Bathrooms looked very we made this look expensive with the wallpaper but forgot to clean in weeks .
Phenomenal food. Lucky to have such a top tier restaurant in Lincoln. Competes with the best in Chicago.
