A fantastic little backstreet pub with two lounges, the smaller of the two having a good selection of board games and a guitar invitingly hung on the wall for an impromptu singalong. In the winter months there are two fires to cheer your spirits and...when blessed by the sun you can retreat to the lovely beer garden. A good selection of beers and ciders, including vegan friendly, reasonably priced Brewdog Punk IPA and decent coffee as well. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming and there are regular events such as quizzes and live music nights for more entertainment.

Everyone is made welcome at this amazing community pub. All staff and regulars are polite and friendly. The choice of ales and quality is fantastic. There is simple food, sandwiches, quiche etc on offer but, there is a monthly Sunday roast menu, which booking is...required, there are food theme nights plus a monthly visit from Curryjacks. There is a quiz night, community allottment and plenty more on offer at this little gem of a pub. It is very dog friendly has a wonderful beer garden along with The Kennel a small room available for private use.

Great pub, small and cosy with friendly staff, nice atmosphere. And it is always a plus that dogs are allowed in.
