Domaine De Fompeyre

Dinner was set up on a large outdoor terrace,partly under tents. Below the tents ceiling fans were blowing,so was the wind outdoors,the end result was that we were cold. To make matters worse service was very slow. For the food my appetizer of gesier salad was good,the beef with very strange orange garnish that followed was not good. Dessert of cheeses was average at best. The worse part was wine by the glass,I chose two red Bordeaux supposedly fairly good vintages. The waitress brought the first glass filled without showing me the bottle. It was not very good so I asked to see the bottle before she poured me the second one. However she repeated the same process claiming there was a machine in the bar filling the glasses and the bottle could not be brought over. The second glass was even worse than the first. I ended up paying for two supposedly decent wines and drinking two unpalatable glasses without being sure they were what I ordered.

We had a very pleasant stay. The place is beautiful, the pools and the hammam ensure a perfect relaxing moment. Small flat on the service of the restaurant that served us an entry containing meat despite our warnings to the waiter and reception on the fact that we did not handle it. We were served another entrance and the rest of the meal was excellent.

Reservation made upstream for this family meal for a birthday. Nice welcome and attentive service team throughout the lunch. The dishes are well cooked and the card makes it possible to satisfy a large array of palets. Quietly, the place allows you to spend a pleasant moment.
