I have passed this restaurant many times, not knowing what is a really great family restaurant. My wife and I were warmly welcomed and welcomed, the very friendly and efficient staff were excited to offer our comfort and hospitality. The environment was authentic and showed the immense pride of its heritage and education. Our order was accepted and the articles were fully explained, our order came a short time later and I ask the Lord if this was a family restaurant? and he showed great honor and pride to answer and even to the other location in the city, a really great family production. Now I have discussed a great deal of Tex-Mex and hispanic meals throughout Texas and elsewhere. Nothing prepared me for the food that I was brought, I ordered the “El Matador, ” the food simply melted in my mouth, the fools were absolutely delicious and the enchilada was just as good, the chips, diving, all supplements the meal, and the attention that was given to us as we were dipped was excellent, that was now not blinded to us, I saw and was treated efficiently. The warm and relaxed atmosphere was a true blessing. What is so difficult to find during these uncertain times in our state. I rewarded my server for a wonderful experience. And expand my compliments to the owners and to the family as a whole. I look forward to returning to your hwy loop location and revisiting a great experience. Thank you. Came from out of town to help move in at Tarleton. I was told to try different restaurants and we picked Don Nicos. Great Choice we made. They have a wide variety of options on the menu. I ordered the Lengua Plate for $12.95. It was very good. It's hard to find beef lengua on menus. So glad we tried Don Nicos. We will be back.
Reminded me of home. Loved it. Was really tasty TexMex. Thank you. Horchata was just right sopapillas excellent and really enjoyed my chicken flautas.
A great place to eat! Great authentic Mexican cuisine! I always meet my friend Deb Smith for dinner when I get through Stephenville!
