Donatina's Neapolitan Pizza Cafe

Very disappointed with this experience. As a pizza lover who looks at pizza as his own food group, is that my worst experience in years. The opponent was useless for a first time customer who shared it was the first time to visit. She treated me as disturbing, no explanation of the menu or even the process for ordering for din in or out asked questions for a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and she just stared at me, then when I asked how big that would be, she said 16 inch cake, I told her that was too big for a pizza, then she said she wanted a neapolitan size and pointed to a menu above my head. There was a mushroom pizza listed, wondering if I could add pepperoni, she blank stared at me. Pizza was brought to me, not a plate, table or my Diet Coke. Must be back to get my diet counter, no feedback from the waiter. Pizza was cold, and there was no taste. I'm two slices and I left the rest of the cake. No place I would recommend.

I was disappointed because it was my first time. We ordered the Detroit-style pizza. The taste was good, but it was extremely salty. Almost to the point of not being edible. Garlic nodes were a small Bland. I like seeing pieces of garlic on my knot, but they don't. But the service was great and the Cannolis were good. I'll try again. But next time, I won't ask for salt if that's possible. If my next experience is better, I will give more stars to my review.

It is good, but do not stand out on LI Regular slice: 3.5 stars, very thin crust garlic knot: 4 stars, perfect amount garlic, bread not quite soft enough special slices: 2.5 a bit overboiled and crispy. Maybe a plus if you like it. Meat on buffalo slide and pulled pig was dried.

Very good pizza. Different, tasty. Detroit style, wood oven style, traditional style, you name it, they make it. Good beer on tap, nice little bar. Stop in for a quick bite, you will enjoy it. It's part of Patchogue Village but off to the side. Worth the visit

Drove 45 minutes for this pizza. The Detroit style pizza is not disappointed. Very recommended.
