Family meal We enjoyed our food, it arrived quickly once our order was taken, however we were sat for about 20 minutes before anyone offered to take our order. Another customer offered help with menu before paid staff even looked our way. That said once staff came, the were quick (so quick we had to point out we had not finished ordering all our drinks). Maybe it was our fault, being that German isn't our first language..... Food was nice, good portion sizes Outdoor seating was lovely. I didn't have correct change but it didn't matter, the friendly waiter just decided to take a tip without really checking that I wanted to tip!! Prices were good, considering we were in side a museum. I would visit the museum again but not the restaurant, purely due to the servicing staff.
Celebrate a common 60th birthday. We were greeted by Michaela with a welcome drink. When we sat down for dinner, we were treated to homemade house dives with bread, the date cream was from this world, I only had to make the recipe happy. Next, a wild mushroom soup was beautiful consistency. The main course consisted of filled pork, geese and roulette together with finely prepared veg, all served by the staff. Our glasses were stopped by Dennis all night. Pudding was fab hot plums with ice cream and various other treats. Service and quality of food and drinks was great and made our night most pleasant. Thank you.
Speisen und Getränke in angemessener Qualität, wie man es von einem Museumsrestaurant erwarten kann. Aber das Serviceniveau schien sehr schlecht zu sein, da die Mitarbeiter desinteressiert waren, ihre Freunde unter den Gästen bevorzugten, die Gerichte unvollständig servierten und dies nicht einmal korrigierten, wenn sie gefragt wurden. Die Wände sind mit allen Arten von Auszeichnungen für Gastfreundschaft geschmückt, aber ein genauer Blick zeigt, dass diese stammen vor vielen Jahren. Und genau so haben wir diesen Ort erlebt.
In dem Museum Village Museum verfügt dieses Restaurant über Innen- und Außensitzplätze, aber wir empfehlen, an einem schönen Tag zu gehen, damit Sie draußen an den historischen Gebäuden und der ruhigen Umgebung sitzen können. Ein angrenzender Spielplatz bietet kleinen Kindern die Möglichkeit, sich auszutoben. Sehr gute regionale Küche und lokal gebrautes Bier machen diesen Zwischenstopp angenehm, zwar nicht das billigste, aber die Lage macht es lohnenswert!
