Update: march 13th. it’s been weeks and I have not received a refund. If you are on a budget, this may be a big issue for you. Had to call my credit card company and file a dispute February 21- Call before showing up regardless if you have pre booked. Booked a room using Booking. Com. Came in and was told all rooms were sold out. I asked if they could refund my payment, told me I would have to contact Booking. Very inconvenient and aggravating.
Staff was friendly and welcoming. Fresh baked cookies were ready at check in. The room was very spacious and warm. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. The hotel has easy access to the I 10 and plenty of restaurants if you don't want to eat at the hotel. Breakfast was good with omelets to order and the checkout process was smooth and fast (if you opt to check out at the desk).
Breakfast cost money. Planned on working out, but the fitness center wasn't even open(They told me they were doing reconstruction, which is ok, but could at least told me when I checked in. They didn't even show it on there website when I looked). Overall, it's ok, but would not recommend this hotel.
Our room was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.
