Downtown Social

Downtown Social is a bar in New Braunfels. You have music at night, either live music or DJ. It also has a Mini Bowling ally inside. How great is that? If you are not a bowler that is good, there are video games big bartenders, drinks and great atmosphere. I was on Thursday night. There was a DJ that was so funny, he played trivia games and held the jump! The food was good and the prices were very good. The staff was so friendly and cared for you. I would recommend Downtown Social for a date or hang out with friends and I'm sure I'm back. So check it out. You can't go wrong.

We got to restaurant and they said they couldn't find our reservations. We showed them our open table reservation and they said sorry. It took almost an hour to get our table. Not sure why they take reservations if they still make you wait.

Meatballs and cheese tray were excellent. The hush puppies were ok, a bit dry. However, the 3 “appetizers” were enough for two to call “dinner”! Look forward to going back and trying others. Drinks were a good value not skimpy!

Fun total space. Don't eat great. We had pizza and the Cesar salad is not traditional. That said our server was great and the atmosphere is fun.

the first time went and had a wonderful experience. we have our drinks and eat quickly and could also play bingo!
