Du Lac - Tisch reservieren

Went there for lunch. I can't speak French so I don't know what the French name was for the dish my Swiss colleague ordered. It was a full steamed+grilled fish, with olive oil, pepper, lemon juice dressing; served with steamed rice and small portion of boiled potatoes and asparagus. The fish was caught the same morning from the lake next to the restaurant. The fish had a perfect combination of buttery taste, spices, hints of lemon and was extremely tender and juicy. Hands down the best fish I have ever had. I would want to go to this place just to eat that dish again and again every time. I think this is a Michelin star restaurant so obviously the food and service and experience was really great! Very modern but unpretentious atmosphere with great views of the lake. It was 380 Francs for 5 people, so very expensive because of the additional wines we had. One of the best places in Biel to have a meal if money is not an issue.

Wunderschön über dem Bieler- See gelegenes Restaurant. Im Sommer mit schöner Terasse. Ausgezeichnete Fischküche (habe nie besseren Hecht gegessen) hausgemachte feine Desserts. Das Servicepersonal und das Wirteehepaar sind sehr charmant und professionell.

Quel plaisir chaque année en automne et en hiver de venir déguster un plateau royal composé d'huitres et de fruits de mer divers, Charly que je connais depuis plus de 25 ans à toujours la même passion pour le beau produit, expérience à vivre absolument.

I already recommended this restaurant to many friends and all were delighted. Personally, I was well surprised by fish soup and ice-cream dessert. That impressed me much was their understanding for culture differences.
