Booked to the hotel and decided to eat in the restaurant as it was a Sunday night and we were not sure how many places would be open. Couldn't have chosen better. Saw outside when it was a warm night and kept dry despite the showers. The carving and lamb fillet was beautiful and washed out with the local Riesling. By Andre, who could not have been kind or helpful. Excellent food and beautiful people
We asked for Sekt, but even though the price on the drinks menu mentions 200 ml, we received just a tiny, half-filled glass each. Upon complaining, the waitress was unapologetic and brought us each another tiny, half-filled glass. She asked us how we wanted to...pay, but was clearly annoyed when the answer was cash and almost threw our change on the table.
We were staying in the town for 3 nights mid July, visited this restaurant first evening and went back all 3 nights. Service was great, food and wine excellent, and location right on the banks of the Rhine, all at very good value.Special thanks to...Andrei and his colleague(sorry don't remember name)! Highly recommended!
