El Ancla - Tisch reservieren

My wife and I often stop here after a long walk along the beach which is only a minute from the restaurant. The area outside is dog friendly so we always sit there. The head waiter always recognises us and greets us and the service he and his team have is excellent. The fish, whether it be as tapas or main courses, is always fresh and delicious. The portions are also far better than many other restaurants in the area. Today we went for a selection of tapas (The Clams are also wonderful) but where they really excelled was with the fish soup. Absolutely delicious. A hidden gem and one I shall be definitely be repeating.

An absolute gem. Totally good food. What they serve is fresh. If it’s not fresh they don’t serve. So you can’t always get everything on the menu but that is for a good reason So it’s a family run restaurant based on old fashioned standards of service. Highly recommended. The tuna tartare, the monkfish best ever tasted). But the list could go on. Everything is fantastic.

I visited this place 2 times, the first time after visiting Michelin star restaurant in Cadiz. IMHO this one serves much better food and much better atmosphere (not mentioning about value for money). If you sit outside you need to prepare to eat on paper tablecloth but food is definitely worth it. I order

This is my boyfriends family go-to restaurant. I’ve been here multiple times and it has always been very good and consistent experiences! We love to order the arroz de mariosco and other seafood dishes. Really tasty and reliable meal as always!
