El Asadero Mexican Grill

We met friends here as it was halfway between our homes now and my friend wanted Mexican food. The food is good; the ambience is nice. There were mariachi playing as it was a Sunday night which was really fun. This is the most expensive Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten in. They do have a nice selection of steaks and fish in addition to the usual local specialities. There were a lot of people there that were celebrating their birthdays.

Besides the restaurant looking nicely decorated, it was just about all that was nice. Service=terrible!!! our server Joselyn was not attentive and she took literally a million years to give us our check. For God’s sake, pay the poor mariachis!!! $20 for a song and get no commission from the restaurant? Completely outrageous! Might as well play the song myself!! Food was okay, but $5-6 for a taco??? Go to taco bell.

20% Tip Automatic Even if 2 people at table.Server was nice, food was ok, nachos with steak tasted great. 4 star vs. 5 since no matter the party size like 2 people, a 20% tip is automatically added to invoice. This is the first for me, at least have this info on a sign at the entrance so customers are aware of the restaurant’s policy.

We came here for lunch today and it was such a nice experience. Our server, John, was kind and educated us on the uniqueness of the tequilas in the bar. I had Mezcalitas de Tamarindo and it was delicious. The nachos were delicious and so were the tacos de Birria. They also had one of the best flans ever be had in a restaurant.

Amazing environment I had at this bar with this ladies Veronica and Mariana and gisell lovely as well, I highly recommend this place , and beautiful bar
