Was drawn in by the sight of the deli and butchery, decided to stop for lunch. Enjoyed it and went back. Made fully welcome despite being a tourist. Ordered a selection the standards (pa de vidre, croquetas, embotits were a cut above the usual; the specials (pig foot pastries, truffled fried potatoes, more pig feet stuffed with foie and topped with crispy Iberico bits, truffle and Parmesan oh my! were inspired. Service was friendly and wine advice excellent (more than usual by the glass, too . Not cheap, but worth it.
The deli draws your eyes in to begin with but the bar/restaurant definitely retains it. The wine excellent The food sublime For non Catalan speakers, there's no alternative menu which did seem unusual. We can get by with menus just in Spanish but had to rely on Google lens to translate the menu from Catalan. Glad we did and it was so good we returned a few days later. The jamon, patatas bravas with truffles and the black pudding bombs were memorable
Great vibe overall; decor is lovely, staff are attentive and have great knowledge of their products. All the cured meat is carved straight from the joint, and is fresh and of top quality. Would highly recommend this place; easily the best food we ate on our trip, as well as being very reasonably priced.
Great butchery and tapas place with top restaurant. Perfect ham, steak and BBQ ribs. Superb wine collection and good service. Cant go wrong if you make reservation well in advance. Highly recommended!
