El Dorado Mexican

Thought I would repost my parent’s Facebook review.“The “El Dorado”Here in Anchorage is by far above and beyond ANY other Mexican restaurant in town.If you’re tired of bland and unseasoned food try this place, it’s amazing! This man is a total chef!But get here early because they only make a certain amount of the dishes in the morning every day and when they run out that’s it..sometimes they close early. They might be only open for three years to come as the owner has other ideas so get here soon! Carmen is a great lady!”

We were first sat a dirty table and we asked to move. They only had about 4 parties in the place. We ordered steak fajita salads. We both had about 2oz of steak on our salad. I had fat on my steak. It did not have much flavor. The chips they serve were stale to me. The good things were the Cadillac margaritas and the woman that served us.

This is a fabulous Anchorage restaurant. The service is fast and very friendly. We were there with a party of five and everyone ordered a different dish. Every one of us enjoyed our food. The prices are more than reasonable as well.

Nice place! Food was delicious! But the service was stellar! We both had lunch specials, the spinach enchiladas were some of the best I've had and the eggs with chorizo was very tasty.
