We were coming off the beach for lunch and just happened to pass this restaurant which was advertising a four course menu del dia including bread, wine or water for 10 euros. It was full of locals which is always a good recommendation so in we went. The fish soup was the first course which was quite nice so things were looking good. However the white wine was brought to the table and you could tell by the colour of it that it was going to be horrendous, it was and was totally undrinkable. We shared Paella for the second course and although the rice was well cooked the chicken was old and tough and tasted like it has been recooked. Likewise the meat course arrived and the meat also tasted tough and looked like it had also been recooked. The chips were also very greasy and unpleasant. Two of us skipped desert but the my wife had a desert and it was fine. This was the worst meal we had in 14 days in Spain and the worst bottle of wine we have had for over 25 years. The old adage `if it looks to good to be true, it is' certainly applies to this restaurant.
It is a restaurant that maybe is a bit more expensive that the ones nearby. But the quality and quantity of the dishes deserves it. And the waiters are really nice, and the place is beautiful and peaceful, with a great view. The daily menu was 15€/pax
Absolutely amazing, I cannot recommend enough. The food is delicious and it is wonderful value for money. The house wine is also particularly good. The staff are also wonderful and helpful. I recommend the menu del dia for a lunchtime sit down.
We took the menu of the day. Everything was good and the portions were big. We really like the beef, it was very soft and tasty. Recommended.
