We went here to satisfy a pupusa wearer. The parking lot is tiny and a nightmare. The restaurant is also small with minimal seating. However, the staff was wonderful and helpful with suggestions. Vegetarian Pupusa, as well as GF rice flour pupusas! We ordered a good selection of foods such as various pupusas, Chile Relleno, Yucca Frita (sin chicharron) and Platanos Fritos con Crema y Frijoles, Pastelitos de Pollo. Everything was delicious, with large portions. Go early before peak hours is recommended and you can call in your order 30 min to an hour before you can pick up your food. The pupusas themselves are very fillable, and 2 for lunch is perfect. You are a little light on the salsa when you get out. Overall, it would definitely recommend.
The Pupusa are huge! It is almost as if they deep freeze then in oil, there is too much excess oil on them for my personal desires, but they tasted very well. I originally planned to take my meal away, but eat there. The food was nicely packed and had everything you need (cells, knives, napkins, etc.). The food was a total of 3 stars, but I give an additional star for the friendly service and we pack meal.
So delicious! Great customer service, excellent food. I went next door and got an authentic El Salvadoran hot sauce, champagne Cola and a baked good. I ordered Pupusa, chicken, rice and beans. These beans were fire and cravings!!! I loved the flat thick tortilla bread that came with the chicken. Next time I want to try the chicken soup!
I cannot say enough about this place. It sits in an ideal spot and has a great atmosphere. Some friends and I picked this place to have a late breakfast. It was quite busy and I'm sure it's always like that. We had a 30-45 minute wait, so we ordered coffees until sipped until we were called to our table.
