Looking for a comfortable place to eat, we've entered elissar. We have eaten a menu each (they call it formula,) one with chicken and ox kafta and another with falafel. very good everything; we have had a lot of dripping and dessert a mint tea. we have had a lot of drip and the attention we have received has been very kind and the price also very balanced. If we go back to the beet, it'll be a reference point.
One of the relatively few places open on a Monday lunchtime, by the time we arrived just after 1pm the place was packed. The cheerful and immensely helpful waitress shooed away the guy who had finished his meal and we had a table outside. We both choose the vegetarian plate, and it was a mini feast a real mix of flavours. Excellent value for 12€. We will definitely go again.
My wife and I and 2 girls aged 11 and 8 had the pleasure of stumbling across this little jem yesterday. Food was amazing and the service exceptional. Marinated chicken kebabs and home made fries (chips) for lunch. I had a sneeky peak at the table next door who had the Meze, which looked amazing. I would highly recommend giving this place a visit
Nice Place for a Dinner, friendly Service and delicious Food! The falafel were superb! Also the setting outside on small tables was nice and cosy. We will come again!
