I am writing this review to warn the people this is NOT the restaurant Es Cruce close to Vilafranca de Bonany and Manacor! This restaurant is amazing, price and foodwise, this is why the reviews are so good here but they were posted in the wrong place. This is the restaurant by Cala Millor and Costa de los Pins. Horrible food, horrible service the waiter was unfriendly, very slow and just does not like his job. The lady was much better but it looked like she was below him. Anyway, the food was awful, just awful and the place is far too expensive for what they are trying to call food.
This place might had have its hey day in the past but not as of today, the quantity price relation is there but not sure about the quality. I order croquetas and they tasted awful, they did not look homemade as it should be. The waiteress that served me completely ignore me most of the time, I am pretty sure it was because I am Spanish and did not speak on Balearic catalán, as she did put a lot of effort on two tables next to me that did speak it.
Could be the busiest restaurant on the Island, situated on the statue roundabout, it’s a great location from every direction. It prides itself on its Mallorcan specialties which are all quality dishes and the kitchen bbq is something to see. Good service and very reasonable prices in a surprisingly relaxed atmosphere. This really is a restaurant to try. (Just a note that there can be a queue and a waiting list at busy times.
Really delicious food for low prices. The portions are small to reflect inexpensive pricing, but we were very full after a couple of dishes, had to take the rest of the food for take away. Everything is well flavored and fresh, hearty and mouth-watering. We had the frit majorcan, bistec with pepper, pincho de pollo, and arroz brut. Everything is great!
