Étoile des Neiges

Skiied down into the area to find a nice spot for lunch an were lucky to have found this place. L'Etoile des Neiges has a lovely outdoor seating area and as stated above is very easy to get to on skiis or by car. We had 4 in our lunch party and enjoyed one of the few meals in the area that was less than 100/per person. The french onion soup was a great starter to warm up. The goat cheese salad looked very tasty as well. Someone in our group got the tartiflette and it was decadent, cheesy, and a meal in intself. Reasonably priced wine list. Would go back any time.

We first found the restaurant tucked away in Saint Martin about 4 years ago. It has a lovely sunny terrace and a cosy interior for when the weather isn't so good. The staff are lovely - friendly and attentive - and the food is quite simple but absolutely superb. Wines are good value compared to the rest of the 3 Valleys and it has a very laid back atmosphere. Our favourite restaurant in the whole of the 3 Valleys.

in ski resort, it is really difficult to find good or very good restaurant (without only pizza or "steak frites")at "l'étoile", you can find real homemade dishes and regional specialties (keep appetite for the blueberry dessert)The service and the staff is more than helpful and friendly.May be a little expensive ...

Very nice menu, the plat du jour was well prepared and tasty. The menu is very nice but this is too expensive for a Lunch _ Menu du Jour 25Euros (ok), most of the other dished were over 30.Their entry wine is expensive and turned our bill to become the highest of our 7 lunches in the week.
