I took my sister and mum here just before Christmas to relive some of the memories of our travel around Vietnam earlier in 2014... And what a trip down memory lane it was! There was a good choice ont he menu, however everything was Vietnamese. In my Pho, I found all the flavous I had come to love in Vietnam and it was washed down with a cold Saigon Beer! My mum and sister were also very pleased with their meals, really authentic!
We dropped only by accident into this restaurant, because it was raining and cold. It looked like an extended take-away, but we were pleasantly surprised. Food was very close to excellent. Products seemed very fresh and made on the spot, and their take-away service was very busy: a good sign.Service was very friendly and effective. Heating could have been better. We went actually back for a second dinner.
This looks like a hole in the wall, but don't let that impress you. It is held by a Vietnamese couple who cook the same way is in their home country. Always fresh, tasty and exotic. Since it is so small inside, most customers do take-away. If you want to eat in, come around noon to get a seat at one of the 2 small tables ;-)
The food we had was very good, unfortunately I can't remember what the names of the dishes were! Tasty, well presented and well priced. Pleasant service, little English spoken. Sticking point was the cockroach running around in the toilet! Sorry, this drops you a point in my rating.
