we had luck getting a table without booking as busy. first visit and will definitely return. service and atmosphere good and brunch was delicious. I had the egg with avocado on sourdough bread and my eggs with black pudding and sourdough bread. we have managed to resist the cake, but they looked delicious and I will try definitiw, next time we are in the opposite. when we left a waiting queue, a snake had formed outside.
Tried this restaurant for the first time, at 2.30pm on a Friday. Fortunately we had booked, as there was a queue at the door looking for tables. The menu was different to the traditional UK Italian restaurant, with the food on offer. Some of the...main course prices are higher than other Italians in Glasgow. Food was beautifully cooked, and the service was excellent.
pays a visit as seen on janey godleys instagram/twitter. eating was amazing the best lasagne I ever tasted. the strawberry tarts are to die! the personal was very attentive and friendly to create such a beautiful atmosphere. cannot wait to return.
the menu autumn 2021 is the best yet. our meal last night was top class. high points were the wild wild boar polpette, ochse wange ragu pappardelle and the fantastic smoked spatchcock huhn with chard and polnta. if they were not, they must go!
