this was a welcome sanctuary at the end of a pleasant stay in cornwall. beautiful salt of earth men that they can easily write into an episode of little house on the prairie. child, well maintained and want to be proud to the staff with a rental company. although I do not approve of one of brand image pubs, this beautiful village hidden away is something special. not only did I get a cozy smile every night, I also enjoyed a house of boiled shrub, the mighty fine tasted. Although the limited menu was hardly enough, I discovered curry and a pint night. "make it hot enough to get me a drink in the eye." and you know what they did. freude : $7.95 with a popadum and nan and some chutney ring burn sauce. I liked it so much that I had another one next night! the seating area was stylish and private for those who want romance. the bar was jolly and friendly they will mostly find a chap wearing hallo vis everything, and from a few teeth ready to engage a stranger in a friendly conversation. I felt at home, a sign of a good pub. If you like a friend and give this place a visit, take her friends, take her mother, pull her strange and vagund from the street, as this place is gold. da iawn from wales and thank you for her hospitality, they have made my visit comfortable and I thank you to them.

We are staying in the village for the week on holiday with our 5 month old. We popped down for Curry Night on Wednesday after it was recommended in the visitors book. It was DELICIOUS!!! A curry with a slow build up of spice, served with a HUGE popadom, naan bread and rice (we had half and half and had it with some chips too! . Also got three very tasty chutneys to munch through! Which is AMAZING for the grand price of £7.95!! Bar staff were lovely, very friendly and brought our drinks over when we were eating so it wouldn’t get cold (beer was lush! Chef came out to collect our plates and check everything was ok which was lovely. It was very quiet in there when we got there but then there was a steady stream of people once we were eating. Clean and tidy, feels like a ‘proper pub’. Well worth a visit and would happily visit again and recommend to anyone staying near by!!! Thank you for a lovely evening! Ben, Victoria and Caleb xx

Great service always ! Friendly happy staff even with a flooded bar to deal with food excellent the sea bass from the specials board with beautiful and the steak cooked to perfection, will recommend to guests staying at my caravan on parkdean Newquay site

beautiful pub children enjoyed watching the football while a few games a pool good coworkers and great drinks and food selection will definitely be back

A proper pub with fantastic food and lovely staff. Highly recommend the Sunday roast. Very friendly atmosphere and great beer.
