Fatz Cafe - Tisch reservieren

So the first time I came here they had a nice to go meal for 9.99. A rack of ribs and a side for 9.99. I wanted to dine in but even though they were pretty empty the hostess said it would be a 15-20 minute wait because they were understaffed. Came back through because Yelp offered me a family meal deal to feed a family of four for 19.99. The manager said the coupon was old? I hate that kinda thing. What does that have to do with me??? Handle your business and take it up with Yelp. Anywho the family meal that was supposed to feed four can feed two. A lion over one rack of ribs. Sides consisted of two half full small containers. I spoke to the manager of my concerns and she started quoting ounces instead of making sure I had a meal for four. Whatever happened to customer service? The young lady at the to go counter was very sweet.

This is the second time I have eaten at this restaurant. It has been at least 5 years and I was hoping that they had cleaned or replaced the carpet. Nope, nothing. There was dirt or dust balls along the bottom of the booth frame. The glass in the door was dirty with fingerprints, the young lady at the hostess station did try to clean them but she did try. My wife is from Orangeburg and we were in town for business. It's a shame that food choices aren't better. Let's discuss the food, I just ordered a bake potato, it was very tasty. My son enjoyed his burger and the salad with chicken was so so. The kitchen was having a difficult time because a fryer was malfunctioning and French fries were baked. Rolls were meatball sized. Our server, Jeremiah was very helpful, attentive and friendly. He was the only bright spot

We were traveling through SC and had to stop for the night in orangeburg. Kimberly at the front desk suggested Fatz to us because of the full bar and the Calabash chicken. Although the bar was good and the food was great the staff was outstanding!! They were short staffed and we had to wait for a table for a long time for a Thursday. But once we sat down our waitress made the wait worth it! Actually all the waitstaff were so helpful and friendly. We had the Calabash salad, chicken tender melt, chicken fried steak and pork chops. We all loved our meals!! Loved sampling a local restaurant. We will definitely stop again on our return trip. Great stop.

people talk bad about this place, but I still have a bad experience besides slow service. foods have always fulfilled my expectations. I have no food here and would recommend it to others.

everything was delicious, well presented and very friendly staff. highly recommended!
