Flaming Grill Buffet

I really don’t understand the high rating… whoever rates it high is delusional. First impressions- really odd, they make you feel like a criminal having to pay per person and for drinks before you eat- I’ve never been to a buffet before that makes you pay before sitting down. The place just looks and feels dirty. Food looks bland, tasted okay. Sushi selection was the saddest display I’ve ever seen, very small. I did not try the soups because I saw bits were literally PEELING off of the foam handles, you can see black bits of the foam floating in the soup. No thanks! Worse part was the waitress. Every now and then she would give us waters, but she wasn’t checking up on us often. Service wasn’t really there. After my group was done eating the waitress goes “Everything okay?” Giving us an odd look and says “Tip is not included.”, multiple times. Clearly pressuring us to give a tip. With how it’s set up- paying first before sitting, I’m sure people forget to tip. However, I did not appreciate being pressured to. Especially for mediocre service. No thank you either after we uncomfortably gave her a tip. Felt like I was in a ghetto area. Not returning, I would avoid at all cost. The cheap prices are for a reason, for poor quality food and poor customer service. Not worth the $70+ I paid for us.

For $17.99 it's just not worth it when compared to the all you can eat buffet in Jersey City and Staten Island. Food in this place is limited compared to other similar establishments. Some food such as calamari were so dried up. The manager and most of the staff are professional and friendly. Apart from the food, cleanliness, and atmosphere is good.

Horrible service !!! We ask for bigger table and the waiter said was the only available!!! Wend you more with no body!!! The carpet smell so bad and my wife get bit for bed bugs !! Never again
