We ate an evening dinner in this restaurant. First thing when we arrived at the entrance, two servers passed beside us with out saying good evening or asking if we needed help. Finally we went to a server saying we had reserved a table. The decoration inside is nice and different, that's the only good thing. We ordered two cocktails to start the supper. The server that came with our drinks didn't know what drink was wich (one had alcohol and the other had none). Anyways, they were warm and disgusting. Then we ordered two meet plates. It was tastless and nothing special for the price. Before leaving, we saw the working place of the servers with food all over the floor. The dinner cost us CHF 120. for two...
We wanted to spend a cozy girls ' evening in the tropical plant restaurant and were very disappointed. Our food was forgotten (noticed after 45 minutes), the water we ordered was also forgotten , we waited an incredibly long time to be allowed to pay and when I wanted to pay, the waiter didn 't have a single franc in his wallet for the return money again Waiting for the money... The food was average at best, the liver was swimming in fat and the schnitzel was soggy, as were the fries. Maybe we had a bad day, but you didn 't convince us. We won 't come anymore. Astonishingly bad and a shame for every franc spent.
I wouldn't consider this restaurant very vegan friendly. On the plus side, all vegan dishes are marked clearly on the menu. But the selection is quite small, there are two main dishes, a salad and a rice dish with tofu and vegetables that I found very dry and Bland. You can certainly find something to eat, but do not expect you to flash.
This hotel and restaurant are a bit away, but the surrounding park is beautiful. The menu in the tropical restaurant is not very high, but cheap and with a good choice. I'd say the atmosphere alone is worth a visit. Updated by previous review on 2019-04-22
