5+ STARS! If you are looking for authentic NY Style Deli sandwiches here in Phoenix, come to FRANK’S! Founded in 1982 by FRANK (see photo) the establishment is now run by his sons. We happened to dine here on a Saturday and had a brief conversation with his older son Gustavo (pictured with his mom hoisting a HUGE extra long sub with younger brother) who personally made our delicious Pastrami sandwich which came with a pickle spear. We added potato salad which tasted homemade and was very tasty. We also were impressed with the variety of snacks, drinks, and desserts that they sold in their minimart /convenience store type establishment. Free parking onsite. You will be surprised at how easy it is to feel like you just stepped into a traditional family deli in NYC. This is the real deal!
my new favorite spot! Ive been coming over the past month trying all the different menu offerings, and everything I get is my new favorite sandwich. lol They keep it simple and have perfected that. All quality and no frills. This week, I highly recommend the N.Y. Style and/ or the roast beef, but you can never go wrong with "The Tony" or pastrami. See, Im hooked! lol Keep it up, Franks!
Best Deli in Arizona! My family has been going there since the 70s. Great people family owned and excellent food. You feel like family when you walk through the doors. Small family owned businesses is the only way to go. Thank you for continuing to service the community ity.
Fantastic sandwich shop and deli market. True to their NY roots. Great family business that they are so friendly and happy for all their customers. I enjoy going there and it gives me the feeling of being back East.Definitely a great find in Phoenix!
