I really come often there. Prices are very low and you will taste the local food and that is the most important, no ? English, german, dutch fellows, you can enter there without any doubt, I come in La châtre since i'm a child for holydays (got family nearby) and the place is like history. I recommand to eat a large piece of sirloin with fries with a nice bottle of wine. Dont expect a four star service, this is a family restaurant. Bistro cuisine !!! If you are vegetarian, don't come, it's a nonsense...
small brewery with original decor, good reception. dishes served pretty quickly, good and copied. My steak tartar was good, my husband had a seemingly delicious beef piece. our 2 meats were of excellent quality.No desserts taken. good value for money.Not disappointed with our visit.
if the interior has the charm of the old houses, the mini terrace in the street is less in working period. a slightly high addition for a dish of the day that is not copyy and some dessert. Too bad for this almost institutional address.
good value quality / price, pleasant and flat service very correct. The dishes of the day are good as well as specialties. Small point to lift, it would be really worth serving fries houses. That would be a plus!
