Looking back, I can see that I haven't actually eaten here for about 5 years. On the last occasion, I complained that the service was just too quick, with courses queuing on the table before the last one was finished. They seem to have sorted that. We stopped here for a coffee while having a stroll along the Paseo and noticed that roast octopus was on the list for the first course of their menu del dia. (Only ever available, it seems, at weekends). I can't resist roast octopus, so we went back later for lunch. We had a very pleasant lunch. The staff are nice and the location is good. At this time of the year, though, you just have to make sure that you can get a table that will still be in the sun when you finish your meal! The salad was adequate, my roast octopus and my wife' s seafood paella were both tasty, as was the merluza and the emperador that we had next. Followed up with a very nice pan de calatrava and a chocolate tart for our desserts. I would just mention that the red wine was also very passable; very smooth and not too heavy. Just right for lunchtime drinking!
Where to start, service didn 't speak any English they had a menu with a few words in English and that 's all about it I had squid and it was off! I couldn 't eat that at all my partner had chopitos and there were really oily and tasteless I order a 'parrillada de pescado ' and they said they didn 't had any of the fishes that were in the menu so the brought something different, and again it was really bad, the whole thing was awful so avoid coming here the only good thing the view to the beach and harbour.
Delicious menu including paella and beautifully cooked sea bream, dessert and a drink for €14. Tapas and raciones also great value and choice. Good position on seafront but in the winter looses the sun by about 3.00 pm.
What a great restaurant for Tapas. They have a got a huge selection to choose from, alot more than most of the restaurants nearby. Service was very good, quality of food first class. Will definately visit here again.
