Frog Hollow Tavern

My significant other and I went to Augusta to celebrate our 5-year anniversary and asked friends in the area for recommendations. This was one of the top recommended restaurants and we were NOT disappointed. First off, we’re from Atlanta, so we’re used to really nice fine dining experiences. The food was absolutely incredible. We had steaks and the shrimp and grits as well as 2 appetizers and a side of Mac and cheese. We also had several cocktails that were creative and delicious! I’m writing this review in late December when we went the first week in November solely because it’s been on my mind to leave this review for Victoria, our incredible waitress. I know sometimes reviews can mean a lot to an owner (so I’m really hoping you see this! and I think this woman deserves some sort of raise or bonus because she’s the best waitress I’ve had in years. She made our whole dining experience. Without her, it would’ve been great food and drinks, but she made the entire experience absolutely wonderful. We were a very late reservation, so by the end of our meal the restaurant closed. Yet she still came out with a chocolate dessert and creme brûlée on a tray, said it was on her and thanked us for spending our evening with them. She said to take as long as we wanted and that just meant so much to us. So thank you Victoria. We hope our paths cross again, you’re incredible

Wife and I chose to eat here for the first time for our anniversary. The team treated us like royalty, got us a great seat, had a special printed notecard on our menus for the special occasion. They did a great job of presenting the options, but I will say they do discourage you from changing the menu in order to preserve the flavor palette. I did get the sausage app and it was really good with their homemade sauce pairings. Wife got the lamb chop (an off menu summer special) and I got the crab cake (also an off menu summer special) we tried the creme brulee for dessert and it was nice. Noise level was moderate, to rather loud. If you 're looking for a quiet experience, this isn 't it. However, it 's not so loud you won 't hear each other. Service is excellent. Nia was our waitress and she was phenomenal. You can tell they train their staff extensively. Wine drinkers have roughly 4-5 choice for wine by the glass, but lots more for wine by the bottle. Interesting enough, they are a retailer as well meaning you can have any leftover wine corked and sealed to take home. They are also dayboat certified, which means that their seafood is really fresh.

Solid. The sign says Frog Hollow but I think it should be Solid Prince! This place is a great dining spot in downtown Augusta. We were seated right away on a busy night so no reservation or table management issues, Jeremy was a great waiter and food came out promptly. The drinks and food was better than expected and everything tasted like a real chef was at work! And, although the restaurant was busy all night the noise level not too loud. I think my favorite thing was the service not just our waiter but really everyone there was very friendly while being totally professional.

Recommendation from a local I didn't know what to expect. The hostess was extremely nice and accommodating as I didn't have a reservation. My waitress was possibly the sweetest waitress ever and great at her job. She was also very pretty, as were all the other waitresses. Food was excellent! Highly recommend this place.

DIESES was the best and I mean the best ribeye I had in awhile. the scratched greens are also great!!! I'm so in love with this place! It is elegant, grown and sexy! GREAT Service!!! Great music, great food, vibes and energy!!! Beautiful furniture and decoration!!! Overall an amazing atmosphere
