Galileo Gourmet Restaurant Bar

This was my first trip to Cucuta, my wife's hometown. One night my brother-in-law took us to dinner. It was the three of us and I said that whatever Luis ordered would be fine, which he loved. And from the start - the wine was exceptional - good flavor but smooth - like it had been breathing for 30 minutes. We had two appetizers fried shrimp and octopus carpaccio - both were excellent. The Octopus had ice cream with it - it does not sound right but it was amazing. Our dinners consisted of pork, lamb and chicken which you will see from the photos. My Pork chop was covered with a sweet sauce which worked - even though I am not fond of sweet this was very good. The lamb was full of flavor and the chicken as well. The service was beyond exceptional - the owner and chef can to our table. Since I do not speak Spanish, they brought a translator to answer my questions. The desert was fabulous - Fresh fruit sections with a mango ice topped with champagne. What an amazing end to an outstanding dinner.

My first and last at this restaurant. We complained with the waiters about the lasagna but he did not care. So my friend did not eat the lasagna. I did share my plate which was salmon. I am not from cucuta. But my friend she is from your town. She was embarrassed for the lasagna but was not her fault. We ate fast and left.

Food : the I order parrillad mar galileo and is ok no the best one but is ok. Presentation of the dish : perfect Environment of the place : very good environment Attention : the hoster is very gentleman and the writers are good Price: little expensive (80k cop) with out drink , 100k cop with juice drinks
