Gasthaus am Brunnen

Our first visit to this exceptional restaurant. Of course they are known for a very good kitchen. What we were able to experience during our visit, however, clearly exceeds what one imagines as very good cuisine. The location is very nice, the garden invites you to linger and enjoy. We really liked the hospitality and the active nature of the hosts. The performance of the kitchen impeccable in all areas. The service is attentive and focused on the guest. It is really a pleasure to be a guest here. Because the card changes every month, it's definitely worth visiting regularly. We were certainly not the last time to visit and are already looking forward to it! Thanks!

Wenn ein (bekannter) Koch aus Detmold (Matthias Althof) sich nach Valendas verirrt, wird das einen Grund haben... Erstklassige Küche, die sich nirgendwo verstecken muss, mit lokalen Einflüssen kombiniert. Ein Traum für uns... und für alle einen Versuch wert. Ach ja, die liebe Elvira war natürlich auch ein wichtiger Grund. Man könnte sich im schönen Italien oder in London oder NY befinden... zum Glück sind wir in Graubünden (Schweiz) und erfreuen uns am lokalen Couleur! Immer wieder! Und es ist das Lieblingsrestaurant meiner Tochter... wegen den besten Raviolis der Welt!!!

Sensational and varied food, super friendly staff and an ambience that you will not find in many restaurants. We eat there 1-2 times a year and always love it. Highly recommended. Service: 5 Location: 5
