Gasthaus Krone - Tisch reservieren

We stayed with our kids and at the hotel for two nights and we had diner at the hotel's restaurent one of the evenings. This is one of best places in the Engadine Valley and outstanding value for money; we have tried...quite a few places in the area, and the quality does not get anywhere close. In Switzerland, you tend to fall into outrageously glitzy luxury and overdone hotels, or poor quality/old/uncomfortable ones. The Krone gets it just right'. The hotel is basically a beautiful and authentic Grischun manor that has been freshly refurbished. The rooms have Arvine floors, extremely clean and comfortable, you will feel at home in minutes. The team are friendly, very welcoming for families, and will do their best to make your stay enjoyable. The owner is present all day and totally hands on. The restaurent is a real treat and is excellent value for money. Despite the high Gault Millau rating, the atmosphere remains cosy, unpretentious, with impeccable service, and a focus on exceptional food. Restaurant's team and clientele are children-friendly, we felt immediately at ease. Because we visited in Autumn, we had the venison dishes, which were extraordinary. Breakfast is self-service and very good. There is a nice hotel sauna with an amazing view on La Punt mountain top. The best is to get in the sauna around and watch the sun set on the mountains. Also, don't miss the cakes in the living room from which a few on the Inn river and the mountains behind. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended.

we spent a week in la punt and spent two nice evenings to restaurants at krone. both of them were perfect evenings. on the first night with vanessa as our server we have sealed with friends. she was amazing, attentive, friendly, patient and sweet. all in our party. more than satisfied with their meal times. the courts were beautiful. the food was carefully prepared with fine ingredients. a person in our party was vegetarian and another hard allergic to gluten. we all ate well and enjoyed every bite of every dish. on the second night we both dictated alone and I had the most vulnerable piece of fish I had for a long time. it was from cold northern waters, it was white as snow, it was cooked to perfection. I still dream about it. fine eating best.

Also, the dinners I enjoyed in the restaurant were superb – choice and quality of food, and presentation are outstanding! Just keep in mind to reserve a table as the restaurant is well known for its excellent meals and hence often all tables are booked....Highly recommended!

After a wonderful lunch we enjoyed the best Kaiserschmaren EVER. The director couple is completely likeable, creative, innovative and extremely friendly. We wish the whole project all the best in the future!
