Situated on one of the mountain sides of the Zilertal valley, with an eye catching view, this restaurant is a must do experience in the area. The food is served in elegantly sized portions (the focus is more on quality than quantity) that will not leave you hungry if you treat your pallet to a 3 or even 2 course meal if you skip pudding. The menu is well restricted so as not to make you feel to confused or worried about what to try, the whine is very nice and the service is charming, fluent in English and attentive to your care. I would highly recommend this restaurant to any one passing by, it is well worth it. Needless to say, the atmosphere is very pleasant, chic, elegant but not too fancy ever as to make you feel uncomfortable. Although I would be ready to be pay a decent price per head for this experience, say around 30 euros.
The place to be !!! Fall in love with the local dishes prepared in such a way that you can taste the special skills of the Chef. Taste the local wines and wonder why this place is still not discovered by the big crowds. Its a matter of time till Michelin finds this place before you do. So if you are a foodie don't waist any time and book !!!
This was a fantastic find with a splendid view. The meal was amazing - definitely the finest meal we had in Zillertal. This is a family run gasthof and restaurant and the people were a real joy. I'd go back in an instant - don't miss this place - it's worth the drive up the mountain!
Perched on the side of a mountain with good views this restaurant has a good school based menu. The food was very good. The staff were excellent. A unique dinning experience and highly recommended.
