Once again we were so well received by Gabie and her family for our week at the Gasthof. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, and it was perfect for our family. All was so clean and organised for us when we arrived. The beds are very comfortable and the duvets are heavenly after a very long day skiing. Gabie and her team did an exceptional job during the Covid time. She arranged the most beautiful outdoor setting for our meal outside all done with much attention to detail like leaving a box of crayons for my daughter to the wonderfully warm blankets to keep us warm. It was a very special evening. In the mornings, we ordered the wonderful bread rolls to make our picnic lunches for the slopes, as the restaurants remained closed. These were delicious. The Gasthof has a ski room where we kept our skis and boots on the boot warmer. The bus stop is so close and so convenient. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon. Thank you so much for making our stay such a memorable and happy one.
Gasthof Zur Post is located in the heart of Hasliberg part of the magnificent Bernese Oberland region. It is a traditional Swiss Alpine building the type to be found on Christmas cards...It has a Magical quality. Inside it is warm and cosy with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The staff are attentive and very polite . The menu offers very traditional Swiss cuisine but with a modern style ... The presentation is exceptional and all produce is locally sourced and of the highest quality, as well as being fresh. We were a party of 8 and everyone commented how delicious and enjoyable their meal was. The restaurant excelled at every level and l can highly recommend it. Take an evening to enjoy this delightful restaurant and hotel in its magnificent location
This is our second time to stay here and we absolutely love it! Rooms are charming and clean. Views are spectacular. Friendly people are often around, and the food is just the best ever. But most of all the owners make us feel so welcome and comfortable. Nestled in a small village, it has the most spectacular views as an added bonus.
I stayed in February 2020 for a long weekend. The owners of the hotel were lovely and very helpful. The food was AMAZING and plentiful, my friend and I often shared entries. The hotel is situated on the main road between two major ski lifts with busses passing by every 30 minutes or so.
