wir hätten gerne dort am Sonntag um 13:00 Uhr essen, aber mein Ausrutschen in schleiz sorgte dafür, dass ich hier nicht getrunken habe, das typisch fränkische Gericht bekam mehr von der Schweinefleisch, was leider schon am Tag war. aber eine kleine Biene und große Spezi, mit rotem Kraut und einem Nebel. das ist schon ein rustikaler Ort, und auch wirklich empfohlen. gut, wenn es lokale Menschen, als Touristen in hof ich hätte nie das lokal gefunden. Ich erinnere mich immer an Meinels-Bas, als ich hier im Schlachthof einkaufe. Einige haben sogar das Wort erschreckt gehört. 5 Sterne nur, wenn ich betrunken gewesen wäre, aber im Sonnenschein saßen wir im Biergarten, einfach wunderschön.
We came here with some colleagues from work after training. The terrace was a great surprise. I had been inside the restaurant and it’s a typical old Bavarian style. Very nice place with great food and beer, typical German restaurant from Bavaria. All the food that we had was great. The prices are very good for what you eat and drink.
Went with the family on a Tuesday evening as we spent the night i Hof and the receptionist recommended it as typical German. That's probably true and the place had a lot of local guests. Food was okay nothing more. We all had wienerschnitzel with french fries and very boring vegetables. Expected a bit more ... And are not coming back.
Ethnic restaurant where the the locals go to. As starter I had a Salmon-Horseradish-Soup what was absolutely brilliant. Never had such a good salmon soup. Main dish was “Schaeuferle” what is a pork knuckle with Sauerkraut and potatoes. Again very good. Really big portion. Price absolutely unbeatable. Friendly and attentive staff.
