Gaucho At The O2

Came for dinner on a Saturday night, having booked well in advance. The booking process was disappointing out time for the table was changed without our consent, causing us to have less time than we had hoped. This could have been handled better. The restaurant was very busy; we started with drinks in the bar whilst awaiting our table. We didn't wait too long before being direct to the third floor where we had a table in the centre of the restaurant. Staff were very good on the night food was excellent some of the best steaks we have had in a long time. We would have liked more time here to try other courses but time was against us.

Pre booked . It was busy. Where we sat I had people walking past constantly which was a tad annoying. Our waitress was nice who took our order a young man delivered the food. I didn’t feel like it was somewhere special to go like it used to be. Maybe they feel they don’t need to try as hard. We ordered ribeye medium/ well. It was well cooked!! But was very nice. I felt the chips were nothing great for the price. I went to go to the toilet and was told I needed to go either upstairs or down as I couldn’t use the one on our floor. We declined to pay the 12.5 service charge left a tip we decided on for the service food we received.

Unfortunately this venue has turned into more of a canteen than a special place to visit. Though the food was good, the feeling of being rushed spoils the evening. Service was not the best for the prices charged, so much so we removed the 12.5% £30) gratuity. Not on our list to revisit anymore, shame

Excellent steak and service , attentive staff and beautiful surroundings. Felt special. I had the burger I wish I’d had the steak as my husband’s looked so nice .

Love kisstory...music is amazing especially after 2am!!! Best nights out!!
