If you come here, be prepared to be treated like family. The owners are some of the friendliest and welcoming people you will ever meet. I love the warm atmosphere they have created. It feels like going back home for Sunday dinner any night of the week.Now, let's talk about the food. I have only ever had their pulled pork and various sides, but this is the BEST pulled pork from Blue Ridge to Knoxville (and we have tried most). We don't think twice about driving the 40 minutes or so from Cleveland when we have a craving for some good BBQ.Definitely try this place out and grab some of their gourmet boiled peanuts as a snack for later before you leave! They have ALL the flavors.
Didn't manage to get pictures of the food because I literally devoured it soon as bossman brought me my Pork Plate with Corn Nuggets and Mac Cheese, Toast and Corn Bread. For dessert I got a small banana pudding and one of those bussin Blueberry Cheesecake Cookies. I noticed on the wall that it says that this spot is also owned and operated by Veterans. I must say if all hell breaks loose I'm definitely joining these folks side 1000%. Like I'm on the front lines for them taken hits just so their perfection of BBQ can live on. Ordered 2 orders of brisket tacos (2 per order) and after tax it was 25$ for 4 tacos. Never again. I had to find something else to eat because these tacos were no bigger that you get at Tacos Bell ant left us wanting more to eat. Definitely way over priced!!!
First time I've tried them. The BBQ ribs had a very good taste but were so over cooked and tough we could hardly eat them. My rib plate had a lot of small pieces of gristle in them also. Everything else was fine.
