Tried to order through just eat said this establishment is not taking orders at the moment called and placed order I was advised due to them being busy it would be about an hour so 1hr 10mins past called advised waiting for driver then 1hr 25mins later called and advised would be within 5 mins which it was however the bag was soggy as the coleslaw had leaked and also we never received our curry sauce which we had paid for I would have called back but what's the point as the attitude I got the second time I called was like I had no right calling to chase my order I don't think I will be back. Its a shame as it was a good establishment when it first opened.
AVOID THE PLACE IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR HEALTH!!!!Had ordered fish and chips 2 portions,when came home and opened I saw the fish was hard as a wood,when I did cut with the knife as it was impossible to even break apart ,I felt the smell, with closer investigation we discovered the fish was old ,out of date and that why they have overfried trying to cover the smell. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!Thanks god our child have not tryed. to!!!AVOID, AVOID, AVOID
Got a takeaway from here a few evenings ago, and it was awful. Fish was cremated, most of it barely edible. Partner got pizza which was burnt and at the same time, was freezing cold. Was horrible. And we also got a portion of fritters. I've never seen potato cut so thin. Most of the fritters were practically batter, with only a sliver of potato, and even at that, was so overheat, again. Won't be back. Awful.
Great Chippy with something for everyone. Pizzas are excellent as is the fish and chicken As good a chippy as you will find in the area and it's reasonable in price. Worth a visit
