I feel that, they can do much better. that was not the best day I think. the services as such were good! the starter (bruschetta al pomodoro) was ok. but no effort to make the tast interesting. oil and tomato on broth. well, it can be better than what I know. linguine salmone was ok, but again it didn't taste enough. salt has helped, but can only do so much. where is the attempt to make it special and an experience? finally the tiramisu. I try that always on Italian restaurants this was not even above much too dry and very little tast the ingrediensens on the menu promised. I'm sure the chief tiramisu doesn't make it home. I could be back this place very recommended, but you must try harder, I think: gbp with a pint of peroni is probably ok as such.
we had two meals here, this last visit to bristol. they went to the street and they were in the position, happy, us at the end of the service in loved it so much we returned in the next night. eating was very good, service was. attentively a little expensive, but worth it. they feel that a side of sweet, kartoffel etc. may be included in the price. also the specials were very good. the authentic Italian ambiente was great. it has a somewhat deliberately dated interior that is charming. we could have been in rom!
Visiting Bristol and wanted a good Italian restaurant. The one we thought we would go to had no space so looked around the area for a few minutes and quite by chance came upon Giuseppe’s. What a find! A friendly and relaxed welcome, great food...and wine at reasonable prices and definitely real Italian. A place to remember and recommend.
Traditional Italian food, full of authentic flavours, in generous portions, served by hosts who love their work. It was uplifting to spend time in this theatre of enjoyment.
