This would have to be the worst Chinese restaurant I've ever been to, we had take away and when we got home and went too serve our meal , it all started to go down hill fast , they had split the lid of the sweet and sour pork and the pork , sauce were leaking out all over the other containers and the pork that was on the bottom was soggy and the pork that was sticking out of the lid was cold , then came the fried rice it was soggy mushy over cooked rice had no flavour and the colour was very off putting grey , then came the Mongolian lamb , firstly the container was covered in sweet and sour sauce and the lid wasn't on probably so now I had oil too contend with and that was before I opened the lid , the meat was tender but that's as far as it went there was more gristle than meat and more oil than sauce and yes I have got one more container too contend with and that was seasonal vegetables, they were raw nice and crunchy if you're into that but I like my veggies cooked and hot not rock hard and lukewarm, so my morel too my review run go to another joint unless you like tasteless, soggy, lukewarm ,crunchy oily food go right ahead, but this little duck will never ever go there as long as I live.
Have been eating here for years usually for Sunday lunch. A very peaceful and calm atmosphere in the restaurant. While it sometimes may look empty they are usually busy fulfilling takeaway orders in the kitchen, so don't be deceived thinking that no one eats from this place. Good quality food. Friendly staff and willing to customise orders when requested. You can't go wrong with the good value lunch special that is on offer. Give it a try!
Got take-away this week and was pleasantly surprised. Very good! Will eat-in soon. The place is nearly always empty and that's sad cause the food is damn good! Support your local old-school restaurants!
Food was fabulous, staff are friendly and looked after us . Highly recommended parking available behind the restaurant
